Amazon.com Product Description Complete a powerful home theater system with the deep, driving bass of the Klipsch KSW-10 powered subwoofer--perfect for combing with high-performance Klipsch Synergy Series surround sound configurations. It couples a 10-inch driver to the floor for optimal performance. This subwoofer's high-output, down-firing design "grips" the air and fills a room with low frequency energy that's heard and felt with undetectable distortion. The built-in discrete MOSFET amplifier and 10-inch fiber-composite woofer are as efficient as they are reliable. It provides 55 watts of FTC-rated continuous power, and it has a dynamic power rating of 275 watts. (Dynamic power indicates the actual power this amplifier will deliver to the woofer under normal operating conditions.) The woofer is composed of a Santoprene rubber surround with a fiber composite cone which enables Klipsch subwoofers to deliver on their promise of extended bass response and maximum reliability. This subwoofer accepts LFE, line-level, and speaker level inputs, making it easy to add to the Quintet Microsystem, the Synergy System 6, or any other Klipsch inspired arrangement. The KSW-10's jet ash veneer vinyl finish creates a deceivingly subtle exterior for its earthshaking sound capabilities. What's in the Box One KSW-10 subwoofer speaker

subwoofer August 31, 2010 Nina P. Kelly (auburn nh) Thought it would be more powerful. Subtle bass changes when you turn the control knobs.
Deep Flawless Clean Bass August 31, 2010 Daniel A. Garrett (Salem, Oregon) I have been buying, selling and having a lot of fun building the best Home theater I possibly can. This Bad Boy was delivered to my home yesterday. Of course, I promptly opened up the box and hooked it up to my system in a few minutes. I already had a similar sub made by another well known audio creator. I popped in a copy of Gladiator (Blue Ray) and turned up the volume on our 55" LED Hi Def TV. Spectacular and awesome are two words that come to mind when I viewed and heard my system. There was not any kind of distortion I could detect. However, the house shook like we were having a 6 pointer on the rictor scale. The crowning glory to an audio system that is truly a work of art. I love this L'il sub by Klipsch. It's a keeper and I'm a happy camper...
Great Sub, Great Price!! August 28, 2010 and1nick I installed this sub in a living room home theater system (14' x 15' room) and matched it with the Klipsch Synergy series(2 B2 bookshelf/C1 center/2 KHC6 surrounds). I am using a Denon 889 receiver and set it up with the Audyssey EQ which really makes the sound balanced and rich. I have the crossover settings set at 70HZ @ Level 10 on the dials in the back which has worked out well for both movies and music. I definitely noticed a difference in bass output when I connected both L and R audio inputs with a splitter so make sure your include it in your purchase. The sub is by no means overpowering, but does fill in the low frequency needs when necessary. Overall I am very pleased with the sub and I consider it a good "bang for your buck" purchase.
Thank you Amazon August 15, 2010 Carl MacCulloch Very pleased with the transaction. Delevery was prompt, product as described. Price was very good.
I was very fortunate I was able to replace a defective unit with a new one same model, thank you Amazon.com
Awesome Subwoofer August 11, 2010 Sanjay Patel (CA USA) This subwoofer if configured correctly does better job than other really expensive subwoofers. I hooked this up with synergy C1 and F2 speakers and boom the most awesome sound you will hear. I like the auto on function and adjustable switches in the back of the subwoofer. The tech support of Klipsch is really nice and gave me different type of setup scenarios.
I recommend this product very highly. All the Klipsch speakers I have bought latetly are outstanding
